Hidden in the depths of the San Francisco Archives, Levi's found records of a jean which may or may not have been produced. This double seat and double knee was patented in 1878, five years after the first riveted clothing patent.
This jean features a high rise, split/ fish tail waistband, reversed scoop pockets, cinch back, anti-fit top block and of course a double layered knee and circular seat.
