The Ampal CreativeAmpal X Grateful Dead 60th T - Natural

We were honored to work with the Grateful Dead on an official collection celebrating their 60th anniversary. We wanted to create timeless pieces, inspired by decades of road trips & journeys to see the Grateful Dead.  We worked with mostly 70s era imagery to create hats & T’s that look like they could be the ultimate NOS vintage score from that era, ready to accompany your trip.

I connected with their music on a deeper level, on multiple extended road trips exploring the Southwest and Pacific Northwest.  There’s something about blasting American Beauty as you drive into a beautiful desert sunset, warm air & music engulfing you.  These moments went on to inspire the collection.  We tried to capture that feeling in the pieces & video.
